Integration Pioneers: Connecting Marketplaces and Logistics

Recently, we accepted a major challenge. The goal was to channel orders from various marketplaces, such as Amazon and Showroomprivé, through an ERP system. Afterward, this system communicates directly with DHL Parcel in Valladolid, Spain. Currently, DHL holds the products and manages the entire logistics process.

The fulfillment sector is expanding rapidly. Therefore, companies must create solutions that streamline processes and reduce errors. By doing so, you can easily connect multiple sales channels. Notably, no tool existed for this specific integration because the logistics company had recently updated its system.

To solve this, we conducted an initial process audit. Consequently, our team developed a technical solution and tested it with all parties involved. As a result, the customer now centralizes all orders from their e-commerce and marketplaces. Now, logistics are fully integrated with DHL Parcel, ensuring 24-hour delivery and real-time tracking.

Uncomplicated Logistics for Your Business

Imagine running several campaigns at once. Without the right tools, managing hundreds of orders from different channels becomes impossible. This situation would damage delivery times and customer satisfaction. To avoid this, you must implement automated solutions that ensure you meet your business goals.

Modern logistics have evolved to reduce friction between companies and customers. Specifically, automation is a vital investment that improves service quality. Furthermore, it drives companies to reach new markets and raise their performance standards.

Finding the Best Solution: ERP and Automation

After defining the project scope, we analyzed the specific business needs. We suggested using an ERP to unify information from various websites and marketplaces. This allows the logistics company to receive and process orders quickly.

For this project, we implemented Odoo, although other solutions like SAGE or Primavera would also work. Once the ERP was ready, we developed an integration system. This system sends all necessary data to DHL Parcel. Ultimately, this allows for efficient shipping after the picking and packing stages.

Scalability and Real-Time Stock Control

Beyond tracking orders, the ERP provides total stock control. Specifically, it prevents you from selling out-of-stock items or facing overselling issues. Moreover, you get real-time information on your sales volume and top-performing products.

By implementing this solution, your business can scale quickly. Furthermore, you can offer your products through new sales channels in the most efficient way. Ultimately, this automation accelerates your sales and increases your overall billing volume.

If this type of solution makes sense for your company, we are ready to take your business to the next level. Let’s talk!
